- 1/2 head of clean lettuce of your choice - some varieties are mini cos red, romaine, iceberg lettuce
- 1 large handful of washed and fresh cabbage
- 20 to 30 spinach leaves, washed
- 1 small fresh tomato
- 2 fresh carrots
- 1/4 red onion
- 1 handful of fresh parsley
- 1 handful of fresh coriander
- 1 handful of mint
- Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (any salad oil will do)
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 lemon or lime
- Sprinkle 1 sunflower seed on top
- 1 Sprinkle generously with flaxseeds — also known as flaxseeds
- 1 Sprinkle with pine nuts
Instructions for a fresh, healthy and complex salad :)
- Wash the mint, parsley and coriander. Dry it by laying it on a towel and leaving it on for a few minutes. At this point, thinly slice the onion and add directly to a large salad bowl. Then wash the carrots, peel, grate and add to the bowl.
- Wash the tomato, then halve lengthwise and halve again. You can also dice the tomato if you like. Throw them in the salad.
- When the herbs are dry, cut them into small pieces and sprinkle them over the vegetables in the bowl. Next, chop the lettuce, spinach, and kale into slightly smaller pieces, but make sure they're not too small. put it in the bowl This is your basic salad. Now the clothes!
